We design and build websites for businesses in Melbourne and across Victoria. Icon Pro Solutions is a founder-led agency: the people who scope your project are the people who build it, and you deal with them directly for the life of the engagement.
Why us
What usually goes wrong is not talent, it is that nobody tells you where the project actually is. We put the answer in writing.
Calls, progress updates and handovers are scheduled in Melbourne time and land inside your working day. Our sales and delivery contacts work to your clock, so you are not chasing an update or waiting on a reply.
We are founder-led. The person who scopes your project is the person who is accountable for delivering it, and they do not hand you to an account manager once the contract is signed.
You get what is included and, just as usefully, what is not, before anyone opens a design file. Revisions happen at the layout stage, where they are cheap.
Your domain, hosting and logins are in your name from day one. Source code and database are yours on final payment, with written documentation. That is worth checking with any agency you speak to, local or not.
What we do
Most engagements start with one of these. If you need something adjacent, ask: the full list is on our services page.
Marketing sites, brochure sites and content-driven sites, built to be edited by your team rather than by us.
Shopify and WooCommerce builds, including migrations from a platform you have outgrown.
Logo, visual system and the assets that keep it consistent once more than one person is using it.
Technical foundations first, then the content that earns the rankings. A fast site with nothing to say does not rank.
Ongoing maintenance, and taking over sites that were left in a poor state by someone else.
Custom web applications, client portals and CRM or ERP systems, built around the way your team already works.
How it runs
The rhythm is the same on every project, and it is written down before design starts.
We work out what the site has to achieve before anyone discusses design. You get a written scope with what is included and, just as usefully, what is not.
You see real layouts with your content in them, not a template with placeholder text. Revisions happen here, where they are cheap.
Everything goes to a staging site first. You review it on a URL you can share internally, before anything reaches your customers.
You receive the code, the accounts and written documentation. Ongoing care is a separate choice, not an assumption.
Proof
14+ years, 2,000+ projects and 10 international awards. Two of these are Australian builds: Derwent Finance and Light Planet.
Judge us on the builds, not a logo wall. See all our work, or ask us for the two or three closest to what you are planning.
Common questions
The questions we are asked most by clients in Australia.
We coordinate and update on your working hours. Calls are scheduled in Melbourne time, and progress updates land inside your working day. For anything urgent we agree a channel and a response expectation in the scope document rather than leaving it to chance.
Video calls, scheduled in Melbourne time at a time that suits your calendar.
Confirm this with us when you inquire. It is agreed in writing before any work starts, along with the payment schedule.
You do. Your domain, hosting and logins are in your name from day one, and the source code and database are yours on final payment, with documentation. It is written into the agreement.
The Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles govern how you handle personal information. Many businesses under three million dollars turnover are currently exempt, but reforms to that exemption have been proposed, so we build as if the Principles apply to you. We set up forms, analytics and storage on that basis, and tell you where a decision is yours rather than ours.
Yes, and it starts with an audit rather than a quote. Inheriting a build made by someone else is a genuinely different job from starting fresh.
